Placement & Analyst Roles
Analysts play a crucial role in the 4C team supporting across a range of client supporting and internal activities. This may include the proactive identification of opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvements for our clients, or supporting teams through a client bid or diagnostic piece of work.
When joining as an Analyst at 4C you will become part of our Early Consulting Careers (ECC) community.
ECC offers you a structured training plan to support your continued learning and development as well as a community of peers to support you.
To help develop relevant skills and knowledge, you will:
- Join a multi-client facing team delivering commercial, supply chain and operations consulting services to internal and external clients
- Participate in a tailored training programme
- Work alongside other analyst colleagues
- Expand your client facing time as your experience develops
- Learn to use multiple technologies for analytics, sourcing and insight
- Develop your specialist skills to deliver value to clients
- Be supported by the team within the “buddy” and coaching frameworks
- Have the opportunity to decide whether to become an expert in one of our service offerings or sectors
Placement role (12 months)

Who is it for?
This program is designed for students who have just completed their second year at university and where the host university offers a sandwich degree course.

What will you do?
When you arrive, you will join our ACE team. Through our training and mentoring program, you will learn the skills needed to be a successful consultant and learn how a consultancy business operates. Following mastering the basics, you will have the opportunity to work on live client projects and see how 4C delivers results.

How will you progress?
After 12 months, if successful, 4C will make you an offer to join full time after you graduate
Analyst roles (1 year+)

Who is it for?
This program is for candidates who have completed their degree or are due to graduate in the coming summer. Graduating candidates will be offered a conditional offer on the assumption they obtain their predicted grade.

What will you do?
You will join the 4C team as an analyst. In this role you will be supporting delivery, carrying out analysis and running small projects on your own. You will be continually developing your soft and technical skills through regular training alongside your assigned projects.
